By using My Chosen Family — including our website, waitlist, and application — you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.
You must be 18 years or older to use My Chosen Family.
My Chosen Family is a platform that connects people seeking warm emotional support with vetted individuals who provide that support in the role of chosen family — mom, dad, grandparent, sibling, or best friend.
My Chosen Family is a peer support and connection platform. Our Family Support members are caring, vetted individuals — not licensed therapists, counselors, psychologists, or medical professionals. The support offered here does not replace professional mental health care, medical advice, or crisis intervention.

Family Support members do not provide licensed therapy, medical advice, legal advice, financial advice, or crisis intervention services.
The safety of our community is our highest priority. We have zero tolerance for harassment, abuse, exploitation, or harm of any kind.
Please report any safety concerns immediately to safety@my-chosen-family.com
We reserve the right to remove any member — seeker or Family Support — who violates these terms or who poses a risk to the community.
Subscriptions and session payments are processed securely through Stripe. Subscription fees are charged at the start of each billing period. Refund requests are handled on a case by case basis — contact support@my-chosen-family.com within 7 days of a charge.
My Chosen Family provides a connection platform. We are not responsible for the content of conversations between members, outcomes of relationships formed on the platform, or decisions made based on support received. We do our best to vet all Family Support members but cannot guarantee outcomes.
The My Chosen Family name, logo, and platform design are our intellectual property. You may not reproduce or use them without written permission.
We will notify you of significant changes by email. Continued use of the platform after changes take effect means you accept the updated terms.
